Gaining Land Registry Compliant Plans
To avoid applications submitted to the Land Registry from rejection, it is important to have compliant plans. Our Surveyors at Neil Moran Associates are experienced in the process and competent at producing Land Registry compliant plans.
When land is subject to first registration, or is to be either transferred or leased (the Land Registration Act 2002 requires lease plans for leases of a term of more than 7 years) then Land Registry applications have to be accompanied by a plan. This has to comply with the guidance published by the Land Registry.
Land Registry Compliant Plans have to be drawn up accurately, to scale and with sufficient detail to clearly show the extent of the property.
We produce Land Registry Plans following a measured survey on site. Alternatively, we may be able to convert old plans into compliant lease plans without a site visit and, therefore, at a reduced cost.
